High School Deemed 'America Day' Celebration Too Offensive — visiontoamerica.com: "In years past it’s the kind of thing that would probably have originated in the school administration office. Now, in today’s upside-down world, it’s been rejected.

The Fort Collins High School student council had proposed having a day in which to celebrate their nation during the week-long Winter Spirit Week. They had suggested “Merica Monday” as a way to recognize their national pride by dressing in red, white and blue."
