Jobless Claims Jump Higher Than Expected | Conservative Byte: "The Labor Department reported this morning that initial jobless claims jumped this week by 20,000, rising to 362,000. Economists had been expecting a slight increase to 355,000. The four-week moving average, a less volatile measure, also moved up to 360,000. The jobless claims number largely has been stuck in the 350-400,000 range since the Fall of 2011."
